Birthday Weekend Report

Well, it's official:

my car insurance will be dropping the next time our policy renewal is up.

Hoo-Ray!!

Also, many other things have happend this weekend. Liz snuck me off to one of our favorite places to stay in Boulder on Friday night, and then we promptly dined at one of the best Ethiopian Restaurants we've ever been to, and then caught the Hot Buttered Rum String Band (Bluegrass like woah) at the Fox theatre after that. And if THAT wasn't enough, the following day we were joined by a select number of family and friends at Eldora for some really good skiing and wonderful powder. It really was a wonderful day, capped off by some pizza at our favorite haunt back up at the Fort, and THEN i got a new book (God Laughs and Plays by David James Duncan) and the new Ani CD at the end of the night! (I know, i'm quite spoiled. Well, maybe you should have tried to marry liz. She's not just a pretty face, you know. She loves me very well.)

And to top it all off, really, upon arriving back home Saturday, we got the mail to find the final and actual job offer for my position at Golder. So, I will become full fledged contributing member of society come early march, and no longer be a man of leisure or house husband. And as much fun as having every weekday to yourself is, i'm looking forward to getting back to moving my daily energies into something a little more fruitful.

I would have some pictures to share in all of this, but, currently the old laptop is back in the shop (and may be getting traded in for a new desktop), so, you'll simply have to wait. See, not only is this blog entertaining (it is entertaining, right?) it's also teaching you valuable life lessons. You're welcome.
