Another Basketball Post

And I'm sorry to subject you to yet another blog entry about mens college basketball (March, here we come!!) but, I simply can't help it, now that my boys are rolling at just the right time. MSU defeated Indiana last night, 58 to 66, and effectively won me household alma mater bragging rights. Yes, it felt good. Yes, I am shallow. Yes, I know i need to learn how to de-attach my ego and attitude from my basketball team's record, but, it's nearly march. Talk to me in April.

Dude, Izzo is amazing. I don't know how close you followed State at the begining of the season but everyone around here had written them off at the begining of the year. Once the struggled everyone kind of wrote off the year as a rebuilding year and started looking forward to next years recruiting class. Now he's got them rolling and looking like one of those teams that will be scary for the high seeds to face in the early rounds. Fun times!

I agree, Tom Izzo is an incredible coach who always gets his team in shape for March every single year. I obviously didn't get to read as much of the early on coverage, but it simply made my year to watch them bust down the Badgers this week, and then get on ESPN.com to see Neitzel's name as the headline.

It was a good win that will help us cement an NCAA bid, all in all though, the second half was amazing. Somehow we out scored IU by A lot, but on the downside we had over 20 turnovers, we need to cut down on the TOs if we wanna make a deep run in march.

GO GREEN, GO WHITE, GO STATE!!!!
IZZO, BEST COACH IN BIG 10, PERIOD.

Don't look past Northwestern in Chicago ... I think the Spartans need it - especially if Purdue beats Iowa the next day. The Wildcats have been giving some tough games lately.

We do need it, if only to be able to get back in Wisconsin's face and get some revenge for that late Three point hail mary.. grumble...
