Spring-Break Stay-Cation

Spring Break is a funny thing. Funny, like, I haven't had one in six years. Sadly, Liz still gets one every single year, but we missed each others break by a week this year, and subsequently only shared two days of communal vacation this March. Bummer. But we did our best to make the most of it by seeing the best parts of our little state that is drivable in a few days.

Such highlights include a day of skiing, staying with good friends in the Denver and Springs area, catching the MSU game at the alumni bar on Sunday morning, warm afternoon ice cream, sandstone-slab climbing and some requisite comic book talk with Monte. We almost certainly feel spoiled by the lovely people we get to see and places we can get to within a few hours notice in the Centennial State. But we're back to the grind now, and we're both doing our best to keep up the work and not simply think about summer time.

So what are your plans for the summer, since you will both have a long summer holiday (whoops sorry vacation)
