Wednesday Night Sunset

We have new neighbors across the street now, who i think eye me suspiciously when i take out the 2nd floor screen in the window to scramble onto the roof for an evening photo-op. I'll tell them to call the HOA, seeing as how i currently sit on the HOA board....

(more sunsets here)

Not the HOA!!!!!!

That is one thing I do not miss since moving here to Latvia. Ian and I now live in a small apartment block and all the apartments (except those who can't due to ill health) have responsibilities to keep the area clean, it is our turn to keep the stairs clean this week. We are also to keep a patch of paving clear - must get on with doing that again. One of the joys though is not having the faceless HOA company breathing down our necks because we didn't weed the lawn one week. I guess it is a little different though if the HOA actually consists of home owners and not faceless companies and the home owners genuinely work together to tidy places up.

I guess HOA's to me are a bit like a red rag to a bull - your finding a few of those red rag to bulls topics this week Doug
