Saturday Link Dump

In the last week, i've been pointed towards some neat sites that i think should garner more attention, via the pc mag blog appscout. The first is probably the coolest, a site called Cookthink.

Cookthink is basically a set of recipe's organized with different tags and describers that you find by typing in the kind of food that you are in the mood for, and then it gives you what you should eat. Want something savory and scrumptious, with tomato and chicken? Viola! Chicken & Sausage Gumbo! Yum.

Another site is something called Songza, and it's a place that works slightly like pandora, that is, a free online radio. The difference is that it doesn't really craft you a station, persay, but, you can search for any artist you can think of, (even videos) and whatever it comes up with you can immediately play and add to a playlist. When searching you do turn up a fair amount of oddities and bad live tracks, but is a cool tool for giving a new group a listen without having to deal with their myspace page.

Yea, i think i've missed out on a lot of music just because i don't have a myspace account... or any patience to get on it's server at all.
