Loooooooong way back...

So, it's been a few... ah. weeks... maybe months. not sure. I think. I won't be so smarmy as to suggest that i've decided to make a new years resolution to keep this up with more gusto - as i've never had a taste for resolutions. So, instead of attempting to think of the best way to add text to the top of the screen, i'll point out all of the holiday pictures from last month, and then i'm going to take liv (our current doggysitting charge) for a walk.
