California Dreamin'

Too much, too much. I am not sure where to begin, but, by diagraming some of last week's adventures. In the name of Spring Break (it's a national holiday) (check it, its on the calendar) miss liz and i took to the Denver aiport with air tickets in hand and found our way to the San Jose International Airport last Sunday afternoon.

Mr. Meeden picked us up and volunteered his house for us for the night, and we spent the next day romping through and around the hills of San Francisco - my absolute favorite big city. (and ate copious amounts of In-N-Out before we got there, always the first piece of business when i get to the west coast.) We walked around the majority of the day, liz showed me where she got to live when she spent a semester of undergrad in the city, and did our best impression of non-tourists.

We sped down to a dinner in Santa Cruz that night, the begining of the rest of our time spent at Mount Hermon. Eating far too much food, getting enough sleep, drinking wine at nearly every meal (no breakfast, don't worry) is the perfect vacation, if you ask me.

We spent Wednesday running down and about the Big Sur area, caught the 11oclock Eucharist at the Monsatery and enjoyed lunch on my favorite bench. To be honest, to really describe all of it, each day would most likely deserve it's own posted entry, so i shall just leave you with my favorite picture from the trip, and direct you here to my Flickr account if you would truly like to see the ones i liked enough to steal bandwith for.
