More stolen pictures and stories

Well, we went out in search of more adventure and altitude last weekend, only to discover that yet again, we had an ill-prepared camera setup, this time with the battery fully charged but completely void of a memory card. Whoopee!

So, in our tromp up to the Vedauwoo with Mark & Kate last weekend, our companions graciously allowed us to not only borrow gear and rope, but also let us pick up their camera on occasion and take a few shots. It was a wonderful day of wind and sun (classic Wyoming traits), and some absolutely rad off-width crack climbing.

Per usual, as well, the write up over on Kate's blog is wonderfully detailed (and in this occasion, incredibly complimentary to me, which i can't help but appreciate) in the couple climbs that we scampered up. Really, go and read it. I mean, look at that, it's got appropriate links to different web sites with route details, amazing pictures - its what a blog entry describing a day in the mountains is supposed to look like. I really need to step it up.

So, since we are headed back to to Voo this weekend with my personal momma Blocksma who is flying in today for an 8 day visit, (!) i promise to give a much more detailed and descriptive report of the trip come next week for all passerbys to see.

Oh, also, all of these awesome shots were hijacked from Kate, as well. Yup. Thanks Kate!

Heh! Glad you liked the shots, and the post. My bro-in-law added a comment today about climbing lingo. Evidently, my stories aren't as appreciated by those who don't know what "beta" or "pink-pointing" is. :)

Can't wait for next weekend! Hopefully I'll be able to walk without coughing by then...
