Hard day to be a spartan
Eek. This one hurts the ole pride a little bit, i suppose. I guess the only solace that i can take in being named "The most overated football program in the country" is that we got enough national attention to be considered. I guess.
Adding insult to injury, Shannon Brown announced he's leaving the spartans for the NBA. Drat. Tom seems to be a marvelous recruiter, so marvelous he's lost 4 of the last 8 superior players to an early exit to the pro's.
Speaking of ex-spartans, Zach Randolph managed to find it within himself to get arrested again for racing along a 20 mph street. With loaded weapons (though he had permits for them.) Le Sigh.

I can't remember the exact quote, so I'll have to paraphrase what Zach's high school coach said a couple years ago...
"Every day that I open the paper and see that Zach Randolph hasn't shot someone or gotten arrested, I consider that a blessing"
Found it:
"I just don't want the day to come where I pick up that paper and it says (Zach Randolph) shot someone, or that he was shot. Every day that goes by that I don't see that, I feel good."
GO GREEN!!
As a Fighting Illini fan i'm not that upset about the whole thing. Moving on...
I'm starting out in the Master of Divinity in Pastoral Ministry degree but might bail out with the shorter M.A. after two years. Most people do and I doubt I will be an exception!
They've got some pretty good programs at Western. Their counseling program seems to be their best from what I've heard and their overall faculty seems pretty solid. I've had a few friends that have had great experiences there whom I respect very much. Here's the website. www.westernseminary.edu
I'm assuming you've checked into Denver Seminary? Another friend of mine, Drew just graduated from there not long ago and loved that school as well. What are you looking to study?
Actually, the debate is currently between an MDiv, and a counseling degree.
To be honest, i really want to study theology and biblical language, but would like to work in counseling of some form. Or get the doctorate and go teach my crazy ideas somewhere.
